H'OM Vision
At H'OM Wellness Centre our vision is to provide an environment that is friendly, peaceful, welcoming, and understanding to all. People coming to our studio should feel a sense of belonging, a H'OM away from home that has endless possibility for the mind and body.
We know there are many levels to what yoga can provide. It is more than just a physical workout; it is a mental, spiritual, and emotional practice. H'OM is a safe place to explore and find your deepest self with meditation, breath, and asana. We have a variety of classes and teachers and encourage you to experience all of them.

We believe that there is an important correlation between health and happiness and that, along with happiness, healing begins inside. H'OM offers a traditional yogic experience focused on the inner self. Our accredited team bring with them backgrounds in both healthcare and nutritional fields, creating a well-balanced and mindful Yoga and Barre experience.

STUDIO ETIQUETTE AND TIPS

 - You can create a profile, purchase classes, and reserve your spot for class online using the MINDBODY app. If this is your first visit we ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes early for registration and to meet your teacher.

- PLEASE REMOVE YOUR SHOES when you enter the Studio Lobby. Classes are practiced barefoot

- Be sure to wear comfortable clothing that does not restrict your movement or freedom of breath

- Come hydrated and eat a light, healthy meal 2 hours prior to your practice

- Yogis come to this space for various reasons, mostly to get away from the day to day stresses, so please keep the practice area silent and the halls at a low level to respect classes in progress and your fellow yogis who might be meditating

- TURN OFF all electronics

- Be MINDFUL of fragrances and personal hygiene. You are sharing a small closed space with many other yogis and at times classes may be heated which enhances the sensitivity of odours

- Remember, its ok to TAKE A BREAK during your practice. Mind and body awareness are essential to your yoga practice so please listen to what your body is telling you. Allow your connection to breath guide you to calmness

- If you are new to Yoga you will discover the most challenging posture at the end of your class. This posture is called Savasana or Corpse Pose. The challenge comes from stilling the mind and body in union with breath allowing meditation and reflection of your practice. Challenge yourself to stay and experience stillness maybe for the first time today

- Yoga is about you, so we encourage you to experience different teachers and different classes in your new H’OM away from home. Feeling stressed? Try Yin or a H’OM class for the meditation opportunities. Feeling energized? Try a Flow or Vinyasa class. Feeling strong? Try a Power class.
